As part of Mercy Health Saint Mary's, Mercy Health Wege Institute for Mind, Body and Spirit partners progressive complementary therapies with traditional medicine, and works in conjunction with mainstream medical therapies and practitioners. At Mind, Body and Spirit we have set out to bring you an environment where the highest levels of skin and body care are provided to nurture the well-being of mind, body and spirit. It is our goal to make a difference in the lives we touch by offering the highest level of service by licensed professionals in the most relaxing environment for our clients.  All our policies are designed to benefit our guests and provided in the best quality and tradition of excellent servicing for our established and future clientele.

Cancellation Policies and Fees
Your spa treatments are reserved especially for you.  We value your business and ask that you respect Mind, Body and Spirits scheduling policies.  Should you need to cancel or reschedule, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance.    
You may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours preceding your appointment.  Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price.  If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service.  We recognized the time of our clients and staff is valuable and have implemented the policy for this reason.  When you miss an appointment with us, we not only lose your business, but also the potential business of other clients who could have scheduled an appointment for the same time.  Additionally, many times our staff will be functioning in an "on call" status and have travelled to the spa specifically for your service.  For these reasons we are obligated to compensate our staff for their time. 
When you schedule your appointment with us, you are agreeing to these policies.  All services require a credit card to guarantee a reservation so please have your credit card ready when booking.  All cards on file are added to the system via a secure electronic process that ensures the information is encrypted and remains secure.  You will not be billed unless there is a cancellation or no show.  Upon checkout, clients may choose their method of payment.

Cell Phones
We kindly ask that you turn your cell phones and pagers off upon arrival at Mind, Body and Spirit.  We are a haven for all those coming here to relax and enjoy a tranquil and stress-reducing experience.

Children
To maintain our serene atmosphere, we ask that you not bring children to Mind, Body and Spirit.  We do, however allow children to enjoy certain spa treatments under the following guidelines:  children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult and all children under the age of 18 must have an adult sign their initial consultation and consent form.  It is the adult's responsibility to monitor the child's behavior.

Gratuity
Gratuity is not included in the price of service or spa packages, customary tipping runs 15% to 20% but is, of course, at your discretion.  Tipping envelopes for cash gratuities are available at the
front desk or you may tip the therapist in the room with cash or check only.  Tipping is never expected, but always appreciated.
 
Confirmation Emails and Texts    
As a courtesy, we will send out an email or text to confirm your service appointments two business day prior to your appointment date.  We do understand how easy it may be to forget an appointment therefore all our appointments are confirmed 48 hours prior via email or text for your convenience.  Please ensure that we have your current email address on file or cell phone in order to be able to do so in a way that may be beneficial to you.  It remains your responsibility to remember your appointment dates and times to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments and help us service our clients better by providing enough notice to avoid the cancellation fees.

Gift Certificate Policy
Mind Body and Spirit gift certificates are available in any amount and may be purchased in Mind, Body and Spirit or by phone at 616-685-6923.  Out of town? Too busy? No problem we have you covered!  We will mail your gift certificate to you.  Unfortunately, we are unable to process any returns or reimburse any payment transaction on gift certificates even if lost, misplaced or stolen.  Gift certificates cannot be redeemed as cash.  Please mention that you have a gift certificate when making your appointment.

Prices and Services
Prices and services are subject to change without notice.  We will do our best to keep our clients up to date on any changes that may occur but encourage all clients to inquire about pricing and available services when booking your appointment.

Forms of Payment
Mind, Body and Spirit will accept cash, personal checks and Mind, Body and Spirit gift certificates as well as American Express, Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card for payment.
