Garbo is the brain child of Marsha Power and has been serving Austin from a single location for over 30 years. Our Policies & Essentials:
Gift Certificates - Use of the Garbo Salon & Spa gift certificate constitutes acceptance of these terms. Gift certificates are valid for up to one year from the date of purchase and must be presented at the time of service. Copies of gift certificates are not acceptable. Please call Garbo Salon and Spa concerning lost gift certificates, at which time the serial number must be provided for reissue.
All gift certificates are non-refundable.
Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash.
Services - As with all professional appointments, we confirm all appointments via text, email, or phone, and require 24 hour notice for all cancellations to avoid any charges.
Missed Appointments - Two missed appointments without notice and we reserve the right to impose a pre-pay for future services.
Guarantee - Hair services are guaranteed for up to 2 weeks from the original service date. There are no refunds on hair services without a personal consultation with Marsha Power.
Party Group or Bridal - A 50% deposit is required when parties of 3 or more are booking more than 4 hours (total).
Payment - We accept cash, VISA, MasterCard, and American Express. We do accept checks; however, no out-of-state checks will be accepted, and a customer history is required to use a check for large purchases. A credit card number may be taken as a retainer against any check until processed as a protection against fraud.
Product Returns - Garbo has a 2-week return policy on retail products purchased at Garbo. No cash refunds are given. Returns allocate store credit, which can be used for product or service purchases.
*No returns on Makeup, Clarasonic items, or any mechanical/electric tools sold. Please refer to the manufacturer for warranty replacement on all mechanical products.
Cell Phone Use - We ask that you refrain from cell phone use for your relaxation and the relaxation of others.
