Hello! My name is Nikki and I'm the owner of Berkshire Salon and Day Spa. Berkshire opened its doors for the first time in January of 2004. I began working at Berkshire a few years later in 2007 while going to school full time, (go Pokes!) By 2009, I graduated college, got married, bought my first house and moved in to a management position within the company. In the summer of 2009, Berkshire was suffering from the most recent US economic recession and as a result, was put up for sale by the original owner. One of my co-workers and I, (with some major peer pressure from my dreamer husband) decided to try and purchase Berkshire. We were laughed off many times that week but less than five days later, we were the proud owners of Berkshire Salon and Day Spa. With eight employees, a handful of clients, and a big dream, we set out to be the best salon and spa in the Tulsa area.

From there, we hit the ground running and took every opportunity we could to attend leadership classes, listen to podcasts, meet with mentors, and gain as much knowledge as possible on running a successful business. As Berkshire began to grow, our existing space began to feel cramped. In 2012, we took another leap of faith and purchased an empty lot across the street and built a brand new facility. With a strong team, and a steadily growing clientele, Berkshire was busier than ever before.

In 2018, my business partner decided to pursue her dream of living a more stress-free lifestyle. She moved to Maui and I became the sole owner of Berkshire. While some people might crack under the stress of major change, I've learned it's what fuels me, keeps me on my toes and pushes me to be better. I have the very best team members in town. I truly believe that. We are a group of professionals who love each other like family and I couldn't be more proud of what we have built together. My job is to grow people and nothing makes me happier than watching someone reach their professional goals.

In my free time, I love hanging with my hubby and little boy. We have a cattle ranch and spend a lot of time outdoors. My guilty pleasure is cookie dough and reality tv, simultaneously. I'm a total nerd and love to listen to podcasts and read personal development books any time I have the chance!
